[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was a very beautiful July-evening on our terrace of our mountain hotel. We were in Danabu close to Aurdal and Fagernes in Norway.
The sun was setting more and more and because of that the contours of the landscape turns out in very spectacular colours. On a certain moment it looks like the the sky was burning. The orange/red colour was very intens. This effect was caused by the few sunlight, lighting up the bottom side of the clouds.
Needless to say that when the conditions are good this phenomenon is always good for spectacular views.

Hi Ruud,

Beautiful capture and well done on the composition. Excellent contrasts.

I like the exposure and the composition. Dark FG with a second plane covered by atmospheric haze and finally the burning sky, it gives an excellent 3-D perspective.
My following critic could be a consequence of difference between the calibration of your monitor and mine. But it looks a little bit flat (low contrast) on my monitor. I did a Workshop to show you my vision. But feel free to prefer your version. As I said it could be monitor discripancy.
Great picture and TFS.
(workshop will come tomorow, I already did 2 today)
