[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This tree was photographed today in Hampshire. I loved the way the tree still managed to remain beautiful even after death. It also remains useful, for the parasitic Ivy that grow and lives on it.
It also, is a little creepy, which i thought was appropriate as today is Halloween.

Hi Michael, it's a very nice photo, the tree projects a very erattic form against the sky. It does look a little creepy. I also see some of our marvellous street furniture has crept in! Those bollards get everywhere.

Happy Halloween

Very interesting shot, Michael. Nice contrast between the living and the dead. Good work.

Jolly good Michael. I'm glad no one cut this one down for firewood. I love things covered in ivy.

Very interesting and beautifully captured. Thanks for posting

Yes, one often sees these dead trees as hosts for other vegetation and parasites. A very good idea to show this on Halloween as you say. I also like the landscape in the back.

Michael, a great post. Very sharp and clear picture. I like these phantoms of trees.
Thanks
