[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Travel to Tanzania (continuation). This time we are in the crater of GORONGORO, near a lioness and of its small lions which are sucking each one their turns!! Canon EOS 300 V, Gold Kodak 800 ISO, numerisation of negative with Coolscan 4 Nikon, NeatImage for the noise. The photograph is a little noisy, but I find this sequence full of life. I hope that you will like!

Pefect shot which "freezes" the real life!

Congrats that you dare to use a 800 ISO film.

A bientôt

Hello Didier,
beautiful natural shot - very clear and colorful. Great composition and great details. Superb colors. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Nice shot, why dont you try cloaning out the Lions head on the right.

Hi Didier,
yes, it's full of life and I love this cute mini-lions. Seems she's angry that one of the other lions is coming so near?
Excellent shot, TFS and bye

Great scene you captured, though compo is not optimal with the floating head on the right. Still, I would not clone it out as this would hamper the story this pic tells, with the mother warning the other lion off. As is, it has a very good impact. I like the curving lines that guide the eye through the pic, with the direction of stare between the two adults and then circling via small ones and along the body of the mother.
Regards,
Gabi

A wonderful natural scene, Didier.
Beautiful light and great composition.
What a precious moment! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Hello Didier,
What a great family scene, there is a lot going on in the image and you've captured it wonderfully. The head peaking in from the right only enhances the image more.

On a side note, a very impressive scan. Technically very well done. TFS!
(Sorry, I'm out of smilies for the day :-(( )

Hi Didier, this is a great capture with the cubs feeding. I would have cropped of the lions head coming in to the frame, it's still a great capture. Very well done.

What a powerful and yet tender moment you have captured in this image, Didier.

Personally, I find that the tire marks detract a bit from the wildness of the scene, however, it is otherwise very well composed and touching.

Well done and thank you!

One pic, two actions: the suckling plus the talk between the 2 lioness's. That is such a great pic. Composition is original and clever.

nice pic, looks almost in nature. TFS Ori
