[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture in the Manuel Antonio national park on the Pacific coast in Costa Rica. This monkey is a white faced monkey, it is the smallest of the 3 most common types of monkey in Costa Rica. This monkey was sitting in a tree just watching the people passing but. im not really sure which one of us was watching who. I hope you enjoy my first TN post.

This photo was not cropped.

Welcome to TrekNature! I'm relatively new here myself. Love the intensity of expression on this fellow. Great crop!

Very expressive face on this one!
Well captured, Anna. The details are sharp and the head is nicely framed to bring the focus on the facial expression.
A warm welcome to TN. : )
Looking forward to more of your Costa Rica pictures.
It is such a wonderful place to take wildlife shots. : )

Welcome to TN Anna , this portrate is quiet nice, focus on the front of the face and tightly framed, though I would of liked to see some life in the eye's they appear so empty IMO, some infill flash even at a very low level would have done that.
TFS and look forward to seeing more from you Yours Robert

Hi Anna,
Welcome to TN. A good first post.
Good detail and colours. Great POV and sharpness.
Nicely composed and good exposure.

Nice photo, Anna Liza! The monkey is really thinking about something wrong. Well done!

The photo is even better than it appears. It is underexposed and needed some work in Photoshop Elements to bring forth all its magic.

Uau, que expressão que capturaste!! Excelente foto, poderia ser usada em uma tese de etologia primata. Bom foco e bom ângulo. Parabéns!
