it's a nice close-up of this beauty.
Maybe the DFOF is a bit shallow, but thats a minor nit.
Welldone with the composition, good detals on the body and lovely colours. I like the POV too.

Hi Sky welcome to TN good capture of this dragonfly, it is more likely just resting on the lavander as they are carnivious feeding one other insects which they capture withe the hairs on their legs which they hold to make a basket/net inot which they scoop prey.
as others have said the DOF might be a fraction shallow, not sure the stamp tool has not covered part of the tail as it seems sharp until near the end where the claspers appear blurred, I find clone tool is more flexable for sorting out the BG.
