Orange Cup Coral
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This are Orange Cup Corals. Corals are tiny animals that generaly group together forming colonies that attach to surfaces or to the sea floor. This specific coral prefer shaded areas, clear waters and some water movement. A few polyps may be extended during the day, but full extension of entire colony normally occurs only at night. It´s also known as "Orange Flower Coral". I did this caption during a night dive in a small wall in Bonaire. I like this coral too much and I have it 1 meter wide in the wall. Regards! |

This is a gorgeous image! I can't believe no one else has commented on it. The colour is outstanding, composition, DOF and focus are excellent, and I just love seeing this exotic alien world beneath the sea. Thanks for sharing!

José Augusto, belíssima foto.
Gosto muito do contraste, das cores vívidas, do fundo escuro.
Além do mais, excelentes nitidez e composição.
Parabéns.
