Greg! Congratulations, you have done a marvellous job finding out all those stars and planets. We see the upside-down saucepan (Orion's Pot) from home too, but you can't see our Southern Cross from up north though. I like the name Alzirr...
You did real well giving us this astonomy lesson. Thank you my friend
pas Oriona zawsze mi sie kojarzy z z piramidami egipskimi :) tutaj tez ciekawe zestawienie, tyle ze zamiast piramid - klocki ;)

Hello Greg, Excellent picture,
Lovely detail ,nice composition.
Nice work,very well done
Hi Greg, the Orion is a wonderful and very interesting star picture, but your photo is it also. Beteigeuze is a red giant and Rigel is a blue giant. In the Orion is M42 also. Many years my hobby was astronomy. (here is a good programm for you: http://www.videoastronomy.org/ - it´s freeware - perhaps you can use it.)
Thanks for sharing my friend.
Excellent "nightscape" Greg. Orions constellation is clearly seen. Really appreciate these shots. Brings to mind this quote from Albert Einstein.
"Two things are infinite. The universe and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe" ;-)

Ciekawy eksperyment, dobre foto.

Great B&W. Thanks for the lesson. :) I always struggle to know which stars to include to "see" Orion. Well captured. Great composition.

Przepiękne niebo - szkoda tylko że zabrakło na nim kolorów nocy. ona wcala nie jest taka czarno-biała.

You have brought us another fantastic shot, starring the universe...
I love what you have done in the ws, and will study it further in order to become familiar with the points of interest.
Great job, thank you!

One of the most spectacular constelations on the winter sky. You've done a good job.

Most original work, interesting and well presented. This is TN stuff my friend. You converted a simple shot from you window into a beautiful cosmic arproach. I appreciate the work you put into this. By the way, a superb exposure. Thanks very much ;)

Thank you, MF Greg.
Sorry, I have no time these days to write complete comments.
Very well done. Well deserved icon.
What an educative WS!!!
I have Orion just in front of my room window every night before going to sleep. Now, if I can remember the name of the stars...
AMAIZING!!. You´ve compose a terrific pic. I´m an amateur astronomer and never take a shot like that (there aren´t building in my town).
You can catch starlight well despite city light pollution.

My favourite constellation, there is something special to me about Orion but I have no idea what. It's usually in the southern sky here so I see it a lot from the front of my house. Nice to see another view from another country. Excellent workshop to go with this, interesting work.

Well done! Not easy to photograph the night sky in front of these brightly lit buildings.
