United Colors of... RAP

2 images, 2 flies, 2 surroundings.
I believe to identify like Bottle Flies to both species.
One of denominated Blue Bottle and other Green Bottle, although the color of this last one was but gilded that greenish.

The left Blue Bottle is on buds of wild flowers, the same ones that can see already mature in the image Gold-green Sweat Bee.

The right Green Bottle is on a set of lantana flowers, some mature and other immature ones like which they are possible to be seen in the image Macro or Micro?.

Bottle flies, Greenbottle flies, Bluebottle flies, and Blowflies are all common large flies, noted for their metallic blue or green coloration.

These flies are often flying up and down in a window, making their characteristic buzzing sound.

Blowflies are scavengers who deposit their eggs on decaying meat, fish, garbage, fecal matter and dead animals.

These materials on which Bottle Flies deposit their eggs are the key in their elimination: find and eliminate these sources!

Complete development (from egg to adult) can require as little as 10 days or as much as 3 weeks.

Good Notes, What more can I say.
Brilliant Job.

Superb. What a colourfull explosion of details you posted. Ricardo I like this one a lot. Excellent post. Well done. Very catching title.

Ricardo, I'll borrow the "explosion of colors" from Gerhard! Great side by side with the metallic blue & green flies made very attractive..You've taken a darn fly and made it a thing of wonder & beauty!!

Great shots and well put together. I like the blue bottle best and you've handled the strong sunlight well, no burn-out colours. Your presentations and notes are getting better with every post.

Ha, great title and excellent colourful shots. Very nice work Ricardo.

roberto, i am not sure if benetton will enjoy the idea but i definetly like it. you managed to reflect the incredible colors on the flies with the good use of light.

according to my previous experince with the critics: people does not seem to like the frame you use. (i personally used to use a similar frame but abondened it)

best regards.

Esta composición se la dedico en tu nombre (vaya descaro que tengo) a los que dicen que las moscas no son bonitas, por lo menos estas con semejante escenario son simpaticas.
Un diptico realmente colorido y alegre, gracias Ricardo.

Ricardo, você usa o supermacro nestas fotos?

Excelente trabalho, como sempre. Apenas uma delas seria o bastante, mas você, genial, mostra-nos duas.

Parabéns mais uma vez.

5:00 p.m. and it is dark outdoor. Dark and cold. No more flys visible.
But you are there, in Argentina, and you bring us those colorfull flys.
Just for this, I am very gratefull and I write another Thanks For Sharing, but not an ordinary one, not an automaticaly one, but a sincere one.

Hello Ricardo,

Funny title.
Very creative contribution, just discovered and much enjoyed.
With thanks! Best regards,
