[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Another one from Noel-Kempff Mercado National Park. As customary to a jungle, the most abundant creatures wandering around are insects. And TONS of them, at that. Flies, Mosquitoes, Butterflies and other types that even science haven`t yet recognized, all jump and surround you from all directions, attracted to the human warmth and Salt residues we leave everywhere. At that morning, in the middle of the jungle, on a table that we cooked only a few hours before, massed an enormous amount of Butterflies and Bees that just savored on our tiny bits of left overs...

A very good first post, Chen.
Nice composition and point of view.
I wish you the most cordial welcome on TrekNature.
In the pleasure to admire your next posts and to read your notes and critics.
Thank you for sharing.
Chen,
This is a very good scene, but I think the contrast caused a loss of details. Perhaps that's was your intention, to create a more dramatic scene. I hope you'll like my workshop.
Shahar.
Hi Chen and nice to see you here as well!!!
So you made it to Noel Kempff - now that's remote and full of insects :-)
Nice capture - I like both the back light and the shallow DOF.
