[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken at the closest location that regular visitors are allowed to Mt St Helens. The mountain blew its stack in 1980. The vista this close is awesome, basically a burnt wasteland seen in the distance. The wildflowers are back but the cinders, twigs and other shrapnel like this will be there for quite some time, I'm sure.

Nice shot to illustrate the destruction caused, hard to believe it was over 20 years ago!

Coincido con las apreciaciones de Pesky... esta imagen es un recordatorio de lo que la naturaleza puede hacer con nuestro mundo.
Bien hecho.

I agree with the appreciations of Pesky... this image is a reminder of which the nature can do with our world.
Well done.

Very interesting shot and good note too. The trunk look like it is balancing on the stump. My only critisim would be that it is slighty overexposed. Well done.
