Butterflies aren't my strong side. This is probably caterpillar of some kind of moth or butterfly. Which one? I've got no idea :-) Picture was taken last year. Spring was very late, in April and May most of forest and meadows were still with old, brown and dried leaves. Which made nice contrast against vivid colours of insects. I hope this year winter will end sooner. I heard that April will be realy hot month!

Hello Greg!
Very nice capture.Well seen and composed.POV,details,
3D effect, colors, contrast and framing are wonderful.

Hi my friend, a very interesting insect.
The ID - I donīt know :-( )
Excellent macro Greg! Fantastic green, lighting and POV. Great sharpness, details, contrast - an excellent composition. Very good job. WEll done. Thank you. I hope with you that the April will be hot.

A perfect macro shot Greg, stunning detail and the green is
incredibly vibrant.
I probably would have flipped them to the right, but that's just my (humble) opinion.
A cracking shot, thanks for posting.

Hi Greg,
Some eye popping GREEN on this caterpillar. Excellent exposure. You can almost feel the teture of those withe bumps on him. He really stand out very well against the dead brown plants. Looks great!

Good capture greg,
Good detail, colours and sharpness.
Composition and exposure are good. Good POV and framing.
I can't wait for the warmer weather to arrive.
Thanks for posting, enjoy the rest of the week.

Very strange creature - initially I thought it was some kind of plant, then two grenn "things" - then realized its one caterpillar curled around the branch. It would be interesting to know what it becomes - maybe someone will identify it.

Hello my friend.
Too busy this days to do decent and enough critiques, or to post more.
Just grats on this fine photo.

Regards, Petru

details and composition are wondeful.
Thanks for sharing.

Excellent closeup Greg. Very sharp detail, I like the vivid green color here. Well done!

Wg mnie to bryzgun brzozowiec, ale ja sie nie znam. Dla porownania:
