The butterfly has tried to blend well with the BG, but you have brought it out really well. Its colours are a fantastic range of greens and blacks which are shown really well.

I really like the composition as well.

Hi Sky,
When seeing the tumbnail, I though you catched it in flight!! Beautiful photo with great light and colors. The edges of the wings look like plastic with those shiny edges.

Wonderful capture of this really beautiful butterfly. Wow!
Brilliant composition with the lines created by the palm leaf. Great POV with magnificent colour. DOF is perfect and the details are absolute fantastic. Exposure & lighting is perfect. The only nit to the photo, and that is not your fault, is that the lobe on the left wing is missing.

It is simply splendid! I wish we had such species in Romania, too :(

en passant par votre presentation j'ai vu ce superbe papillon que j'avais loupé lors de sa diffusion.
DOF et netteté tres bons,mais ce qui me plais le plus ce sont les formes et surtout les couleurs du papillon.
