Taken at the the Philippine Tarsier Foundation, Bohol.

Tarsiers have got to be one of the freakiest little creatures on this planet - the pictures really don't do justice to how strange their manic grins were. They are not, as is sometimes said, the world's smallest monkeys; as sign in the visitor centre said, this is inaccurate for two reasons: they are not monkeys but primates, and they are not the smallest primates.

I originally posted this at Trekearth, but it was suggested to me that this is a more appropriate place for it.

They sure are strange with their enourmous bulging eyes and long fingers. They make a great photo, although the focus does look a little soft here.A nice shot overall though.
Thanks for posting it. Oh, and welcome to TN Serena.

Your photo is pleasing, beautiful composition, the only reproach a lack of cleanness, you could indicate the material that you use, as well as the speed of obturator, iso and focal distance, great shot

Nice picture Serena.
Nice composition and a high cute factor.
Great eyes and fingers.
It's a little soft but still a good picture.
Well done.
Welcome to TN.

Great to see you posted it here. I agree with the others, the focus is not clear. If your using a compact camera, I have found that sometimes it can't focus properly on fur. I don't know why.
You can see in this image that the leaves are focused but not the nose. It's a pity because otherwise it's a great shot. Welcome to TN and hope you keep posting.

Nice shot, focus is a bit soft.
Well done

Very good subject but the technicality of the image lacks sharpness, good baground and it has too much grain ... I chalenge you to try another shot of the same subject !

Those eyes! I like this image a lot. The focus is a bit soft but not distracting.

Thanks for posting
