Nice work Grzegroz, I appreciated the a green leaf appearance of the wings of the butterfly as contrasted with the dry leaf on the ground, Exposure and Focus are good. I only which the butterfly face could be seen better

What a great contrast between the dead brown/grey leaf, and the green butterfly. A perfect match in texture and pattern, but completely diffrent in color here. He is not blending into his surroundings like that. Great detail!

perfect colour contrast, Background is little bit grainy, and I would meaby choose different then center oriented compo, but...that's me.. :o)

pretty, well taken shot with sharp details and beautifully soft, shaded colours, very well representing the species and the early time of the year.
Soon its next generation will be in the air again after a long hibernation, enjoying us with their bright yellow appearance. Yes, seeing one of them is a good remedy against depression - before that, a picture like yours is of help.

A very good capture.
The contrast is very good and the butterfly has nice detail.
A good vertical crop and POV.
Spring is late here too and more snow is forecast for friday,nightime temperatures have been -5 c :-( ...I hope things soon improve.

It looks like you sneaked up on him :-) A good shot with nice detail, I'm amazed at how much his wings look like leaves, even down to the brown spots. Great camouflage, although looking at the colour of leaves on the ground he's a bit early. I'm a Gemini, I don't feel any resonance though :-)

Hi Greg, we have the first signs of spring...but it is still quite cold for the season. I saw some zebra spiders and a couple of Eristalis hoverflies the other day.

Nice shot, a little dark for my taste. Good compostion. Well done.

I think I can live without butterfly juice.
