|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I watch the wonderful shots of every kind of flora and fauna pass through this site. Up till now I have never taken a picture of a flower. It's spring time here now, the snow is melting, the rain is falling, and for a few weeks there is beauty to be found. |
PP crop, added a grey gradient to the sky to give it some features (thanks for the idea Suntoucher. The sky was fading fast behind a storm. Sharpened just the flower and stems, brightened(+3), contrast(+2) and saturate(+2) to the petals to make them pop a little. I noticed with the f-stop I was using and the resultant shutter speed that it wasnt as sharp as it could be.

pretty, very poetical picture. Simple and good.
Well focussed foreground, nice blurred BG,
still allowing to have a good idea of the landscape.
The only little problem to me is the hard contouring edge of the mountains from some overdone postwork that looks a bit artificial.
Very nice picture of a place most of us have never been to.
Thank you! Best regards,
