[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Very busy days, as always during last times. But good news is that only week or two and we'll move to our new, bigger flat. I haven't got time for photography, that's very sad news because many plants and insects emerged recently. Anyway - I met this frog [or toad?] few weeks ago. It was sitting in the middle of my path and catching sunrays. We're talking for few minutes, it allowed me to take few photos and then left road and went into dry grasses.

Hello Greg, looks like a toad to me. Nice shot, good focus on the eye. Maybe a little more sunlight would have been nice. Well done.

Hello Greg,
I still can't understand why you like to call frogs romantic? :-)
Anyway, it's very good shot and there's nice focus on the eye. Very good details too.
WELL DONE!

Great close-up ! For me it looks more like a toad, I've seen a similar one in my lawn some days ago. Excellent sharpness and details, particularly on the yellow eye. Beautiful natural colors and nice composition.
Valérie.

Hi Greg,
a golden eye, wonderful frog.
I like to see it so close, thanks

Hi Greg,
Good detail, colours and sharpness. exposure and lighting are good. Good POV, notes and framing.

Thanks for posting, enjoy the rest of the week.

Hi Grzegorz,
Excellent close-up with well-seen details and nice colours. Good POV and lighting. The eye is amazing! And the blurred BG is highlighting your subject.
Thank you for sharing.

You can't have kissed him Greg then - if you had she'd have turned into a princess, or he into a prince!!
Very pretty fellow, nice and sharp, and a lovely complextion too:)) Well done...

... which virtually...

Hi Greg

Great close details. You have captured the texture of the skin so clearly. He is a handsome looking chap, but I don't want to kiss him!

Dear Grzegorz,
Very nice closup (a bit overexposed maybe). Anyway, this is a common toad (Bufo bufo). Surely desserving his name, since it's one of the most common toad in Europe...
Regards
Fabien
