This small blossom is from Saxifraga ferruginea. It was growing on a wet rocky outcrop a little ways above the hightide line on a beach on Quadra Island.

Hi Jay,
This is a beautiful tiny flower. Well captured and excellent details.

I was just looking at your gallery. I think this is the best image you have technically speaking. Many of your images need more contrast or are under exposed. I think a simple touch of auto-levels in photoshop (or any other tool) will really make a difference.

I will try to make a workshop later on some other image of yours.
