I understand your feeling for we have rain here in Quebec for 2 long weeks up to now! Your picture is sooo nice! I like the way the blue sky is degrading! The trees looks gorgious too!

You have caught the twilight sky perfectly. A beautiful gradient of colors in the sky. This is a very brief window of light before the sky goes black. Well done!
Well aren't you getting sophisticated?! Quite an elegant photo and RAW too! I haven't even thought about that yet. Pass on any pearls of wisdom! All I have been doing is reading photo manuals and looking wistfully out at pouring rain. Actually today was the first day we saw some sun in a while. Because I have the same lens and basically the same camera as you I guess I should be able to take a photo like this, huh? We'll see. It's really nice and I like the minimal frame, too.
Thanks for sharing and for your critiques.
Evelynn : )
I can only echo Evelynn's comment about RAW and the "pearls of wisdom". At this stage I really do not know much about the subject and what the real advantage is. I gather there is a big difference, but since I could not see it for myself yet, to compare, I don't know how to appreciate it.
This twilight shot is soooo cool. The tonal range in the sky is just great, giving this posting an amazing mood. The colours are stunning and the exposure was perfect.
Very well done and TFS.
21:20 at night - if only... well I like the rain and we have had plenty of it... but I know what you mean, I guess. I miss nice sunsets and sunrises and perhaps a little daylight wouldn't go a miss.
I love the clear dark sky Niek, just wish a few stars were visible, and the wonderful apricot sunset along the tree line is just spot on, almost makes me want a good sunset... but that means no rain....

Beautiful sundown again ! I love the colors of the sky and the dark shape of the trees. This seems to be a very beautiful place, and I'm just like you, I'm tired of rain, wind and cold temperature - were are almost in june and in Alsace they say it will snow on 800 m altitude, can you imagine ?
Very well done for this shot !

This is a very beautiful, peaceful shot. I love the graduated colors, the trees silouettes and the peach glow. Well done. I can agree with Evelynn and Loot, although I probably know even less about "Raw" than they, whew...something else to learn now! TFS

Pleasing composition! I like the small amount of land and large sky, very sharp silhouettes too...
Lovely background for the trees, with the beautiful sunset sky!

Elle est superbe cette prise de vue ,les couleurs et la présentation tout est joli.
Bravo et merci....JP
Another simple but beautiful scene. Excellent colours again, from that beautiful deep blue to (as Emma names it perfectly) that apricot horizon. Nice sharp detail in the silhouetted trees, great work!
BTW, I don't know why nobody else has mentioned it but you seem to have some sensor dust or a lens spot to the left. Either that or a UFO ;-)

I read your notes as usual. But this one is far beyond
my capacity of understanding.
However, this is an EXCELLENT image of the sky, the
vegetation, and the "light".
Looks like, though I cannot "see" it, you have
"captured" the weather.
Best regards, Mario.
