This was taken after a climbing trip to Dewerstone in the Dartmoor National Park on a very wet and foggy day. After an interesting and challenging walk alongside a raging river we decided to climb out of the valley and head upwards where we were met with a carpet of bluebells on the forest floor.
This valley forms the source of the river Plym from high up on Dartmoor which then ultimately comes out at the city of Plymtouth to the south.
This is a magical place and i can't wait to get back there!

Hey, man, this is absolutly dreamy world. Am I dreaming? Ho..Ho.. It is one of the best klandscape picture i have seen in TN. Great shot. I think, whole of this night, i will be dreaming about this place. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Paul,
A really beautiful photo with such beautiful colors. What an amzing view with all the bluebells covering the ground and the mist between the trees. I agree with Emma on the size of the image.

This is nature at its best and you are indeed very fortunate to have seen it and captured it so well for the pleasure of all of us on the TN, Paul.
Thanks for giving us joy through this great picture.

Beautifull picture. Love the colors and misty surroundings.

Greetings from Belgium

Wonderful composition - the colours, light and mist all work so well together.

Mist and bluebells always make a magical shot but the gradient of the hill have added something extra. Very well done.

Hi Paul, this is just such a gorgeous work, the soft tones and the velvet moss, you can smell the damp mist and bluebells. Top job! regards Guy

This is really lovely. Don't have much time so thought I would just comment on this one as I have never been able to make bluebell shots work for some reason they just end up looking very boring and washed out! This even seems to have blueish mist - just beautiful!

this one is even better.lovely work.

What an awesome mood!!! Like magic. Great compo.
Well seen, captured and presented! Congrats, J.
PS What are those flowers called with latin name?
I have "bluebells" but not anything like these...

Hi Paul.
Yes this place looks good. Love how you've used the diagonal to present the bluebells. The fade to background is well controlled.
Best, Brat.
