I took this picture in Omkar hills, last saturday. Mr. goutham found this just when the Insect caught the Skipper. and immidiately started eating. Infact, in just 3 minutes the head was eaten and the Dragon fly left the remaing parts of the skipper as it is.
Acloudy day. Auto expo. Nikon f-100, Nikor 105mm Macro. F-16.

This is the first time i am seeing a dragon with kill..somehow i feel something is missing in this picture...though this is a beautiful picture is there any why one can better this...
Very dramatic moment, Satish. The skipper is as big as the dragonfly, but then the former is a vegetarian, isn't it?
Excellent image with a good POV and DOF.
What a cracking shot this is.
The kind of moment that we all dream of capturing.
The clarity is crystal clear and I hope one day to take a shot that comes somewhere near to this quality.
