I shot this view on a sunny day in July 2004 from our family apple plantation at Madan village in district Chamba of Himachal Pradesh, India.
The Pir Panjal mountain range is hidden behind the fluffy white clouds at the centre of the image.
The monsoons were delayed that year and the sky was clear most of the time.
The plantation is situated at a height of about 7000 ft.
The image has been scanned from an old photograph.

The strong diagonal, the apple tree... Elements to enhance the beauty of this image, all topped by that wonderful, fluffy cloud on backdrop of the blue sky!

For a scanned image this view is breathtaking, you've achieved such deep rich color. I love the triangular shapes of the hillsides, with the clouds in the background. What a wonderful blue sky! This would be such a beautiful place to call home, well done.
