It was a beautiful butterfly that flying all over the fields of Almiri in Korinthos.
One sunny morning a sparrow saw the butterfly standing on a beautiful margarita.
The sparrow flew near the margarita and catch on the air the poor butterfly.
Some seconds later the wings of the butterfly felt on the ground.
A big family of ants was searching for food near to the dead wings. The ants found the wings and carry them to the formicary. |

So sad for this beautiful butterfly... But this is Nature and it was good to show it on TN, I think ! It is a nice shot with good details, colors, composition and POV. Well done !
Valérie.
Hello Thodoris,
Great story! I know it's really sad, but this is the truth, one of them dies and the other keeps living! There is a flawless arrangement in the cosmos! Even the stars die as like the butterflies! Great story needs a great observer! Congratulations for this exceptional story and the well taken shot!

Hallo Thodoris,
well documented cycling of life and death (Lasiommata megera, Satyrinae, left forewing, underside). Sharpness and visible details add to the quality of your presented 'moment'.
