[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Germander Speedwell ( Veronica chamaedrys ) proliferates in shady grassy areas, alonside woodlabd, hedgerows and on embankments. Distinguished from the Common Speedwell (Veronica persica) by the Common having a lower petal that is usually white.The Germander has stalkless leaves. I found this perennial on my walk along the River Annan.
