Hello Friends,
This is another photo that I took at Clearwater,FL in May during my 9 days vacation.
I took this photo from Clearwater Beach Bridge with 300mm telephoto lens.
I wasn't sure if this is Snow Egret or Great White Egret so I added General Egret info:)
I hope you like it:)

An egret is any of several herons, most of which are white or buff, and several of which develop fine plumes during the breeding season. Many egrets are members of the genera Egretta or Ardea which contain other species named as herons rather than egrets. The distinction between a heron and an egret is rather vague, and depends more on appearance than biology.

Several of the egrets have been moved around from one genus to another in recent years: the Great Egret, for example, was traditionally classified as either a member of Casmoderius, Egretta or Ardea.

In the 19th and early part of the 20th century, some of the world's egret species were endangered by relentless hunting, since hat makers in Europe and the United States demanded massive numbers of egret plumes and breeding birds were killed in locations all around the world.

Several Egretta species, including the Eastern Reef Egret, the Reddish Egret and the Western Reef Egret have two distinct colour, one of which is entirely white. Little Blue Heron has an all-white juvenile plumage.

Hello Chris,
Moment well captured!
However I think this guy needs more than one fish of that size..!
The exposure is very well done, my friend!
Well composed, dynamic with good lines... Great details in this majestic bird...

Hello Chris,
Black feet, yellow feet: snowy egret.
This one almost looks like a cattle egret, with those yellowish feathers.
But then a cattle egret would not be in the water, I suppose?
In any case, it is a great shot.
The details are sharp, and the exposure on the white is well-managed.
The fish in the beak is a great bonus.
TFS. : )

Hello Chris , excellent shot with a great timing and very good colors, best regards, didier.

Hello Cris, Wonderful picture of this so nice egreet! Snowy or Great White, I'm not sure. If you have other picture of the bird, notice that the Snowy Egreet is the only one having black legs and orange feet. You managed the exposition wonderfully well for a white bird! The pov, your composition and the natural colors are awesome! And the little fish that we can see so clearly add life to the whole picture! Fantastic shot!!! And TFS,
