Heath Fritillary. 2006 has been a tough year for a very rare butterfly in the UK. There are appoximately 32 adults in my local wildlife reserve, and I have tried to give a different perspective on this magnificent insect.

Hi Roy, your butterfly shows up nice and sharp in some areas here. The plant on the centre front is a bit annoying but his head and left wing look great, and he is interesting to see. Especially hearing that this is quite a rare butterfly. Thank you for sharing.
