Hi Thorsten
You made this "common" frog look very special. Its brown colours almost took on a golden hue. It is just a pity a frog can't smile for the camera (chuckle). That big colourful eye with the highlight is magnificent.
The composition is great while the crystal like water droplets creates a lovely play of light and the colours are stunning. The DOF is a wow and it goes on forever with fabulous details. The amazing BG is well removed and it compliments the frog very well while your fill-in flash and exposure was perfectly managed.
Very well done and TFS.

Wow, this is a fantastic shot, Thor.
Love the pose of the frog up on his front legs. Rather unusual.

Superb shot of this frog. Perfect POV and framing. Your flash control is perfect here, no flash artifacts anywhere that I can see. Excellent details on the Frog (and the water drops!), great colours and exposure.

Do you manually adjust the flash levels or let the camera do the work?

So this is a Common Frog - he looks good and I bet he was happy to be freed from the cellar. 3cm is only small, so he is still a young one. Good sharpness and colours Thor, and his details are all so clear to see. Well done, thank you,

Hi Thorsten.
In Russian folklore there is a fairy tale about princess-frog in which the usual frog turns into a princess. Your frog without any transformation is already a princess. A brilliant photo with great colours, DOF, POV and sharpness. Looses of brilliants (droplets of water) in a wonderful manner decorate it.
