[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken from our cruise ship as we were leaving Palermo, Sicily on the way to Tunis, Tunisia. We were somewhere along the southwest coast of the island of Sicily and the mountains were spectacular while lit up by the sunset. We had just spend a miserably hot day walking for miles in Palermo because the taxis and buses were on strike, but the view of this beautiful coastline made it all worthwhile. Off to Italy again in two weeks...anyone want to meet up?

Hi Alli,
Great shot of this beautiful coastline, love the pano format and wonderful light. A real sense of tranquility. I'd love to be in Italy in two weeks time but instead I'm going to be busy at work. Have a great time!

The lighting is great. A very nice view from from the ship.

It's still 50/50 over Venice at the moment, But you know I'd love to meet up for a cool refreshing beer with you and Steve.

Well composed landscape. The light is great on the rock face and shows good detail and the fact that it is off centre, makes IMHO a great pic that you posted. TFS,

WOW! WOW! WOW! Thats a beautiful scene. The light is perfect. Great composition and framing. Somehow I don't think my trip to Destin will quite measure up to a trip to Italy. Need a photographer/baggage handler????

I was just saying to my wife tonight how I'd like to go back to Italy again, we went to Garda last year. There's no doubt that a lot of Italy is beautiful and this scene is no exception. I especially like the simple colours, just the blues and oranges.
Looks a little noisy to me, I'd like to see a large post.

lovley picture with excellent colours and wonderful scenery. I think the picture could do with a touch more contrast though just to help reduce a little of that haze....
