Hello Donald.
Like you said, it is not an easy task to even get close to one of this birds that is way this one shot is special.
Great colors and details even so the colors are too warm.
Good POV and BG and the composition is perfect.
tfs!!!!
Regards
JC

wow, thats amazing. I have always liked red wing black birds. Nice capture.

Amazing shot - I have never seen one of these before - they don;t seem to come south to us, and, of course, seeing it in your friend's dand is remarkable. Looks like you had to overexpose the rest of the picture to get some detail in the black feathers. I did a quick workshop to take down the background a bit - the highlights on the hand are too bright to do anything about - see if you like it.

That is an accomplishment, nice shot!

Greg

Bonsoir Donald,

Outstanding! I wish I could do that:) well done one the colour, detail and composition...excellent work...

Very interesting. One has to balance the accomplishment of having the blackbird on the hand and the photography. The weaknesses of the latter are that the eye of the bird is not visible. Some of the background and the hand are overexposed. Judicious use of dodge and burn could have helped with some of these problems.

Merci. Moment unique que j'ajoute à mes favorites.

JN.
