[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo inside the Petrified Forrest National Park in Arizona, USA. This is a complete petrified log that formed a natural bridge over the canyon. The park added some supports in recent years to keep it from falling away and preserve the site. The park itself consists of 93,533 acres of wilderness, with multicolored badlands, 225-million-year-old fossils, petroglyphs and ruined pueblos, and mesas offering up panoramic views of this strange landscape.

This is a great photo of this Petrified log, the way the sunlight is hitting the log makes it look stunning!
I don't think I'd change a thing with this photo!
Surprise, Surprise!

To think that all these trees were once growing here and that it is now such an arid scene. Very interesting and informative post.

I like the tones and exposure a lot

Very well done and thanks for posting
