I see that you did not include a note to this beautiful photograph. Allow me to provide you with the following information on this bird.
The African Red-billed Hornbill is the only small hornbill with an all-red bill. It nests in natural holes inside trees often with small entrances of only 3-4cm in diameter. They are ussually territorial and stay in pairs or small family groups, but may gather in flocks in the dry season. They spend much time running about on the ground, regularly sunbathes or dustbathes. Their habitat is open, wooded savanna with sparse ground cover, especially areas heavily trampled by game or livestock.
