Hi Emma,
Beautiful shot of this Poppy, you're fast becoming pretty expert at these flower shots. Excellent DOF to keep the stem in focus and defocus the BG, great details and fantastic colours, very well isolated. I have to say I like red corners :-) in fact the more poppies in the shot the better for me. Great shot.

Very nice shot Emma,
And with a bee, what a bonus.
Good detail, colours and sharpness. exposure and lighting are good. Good POV and composition. Great shot, red corners wouldn't bother me.

The bumble bee looks like its curled up asleep in the bottom of the flower, nice detailed capture, poppies are always worth the effort IMO TFS and happy hols going anywere nice?

Hi Emma,
As good or better than the previous. Great quality light, beautiful vivid colors, and the detail is very sharp. What I really like is the texture of the Poppy's petals. It reminds me of crinkled up paper.

Contrast is really on the spot to get the best of the textures. The BG helps a lot too, very balanced. Looks like rugged red paper. A nice poppie :)

Hi Emma,
I own you a few more visits to some of your previous photos. I like the strong color of the poppy and the lighting in general. How good of you to see the bee inside the poppy, it really adds something extra to the photo. Great contrast between the b/g and the poppy, it really helps to bring out the colors of the flower.

Hi Emma!
Poppies are the symbols of the "life after death" and "eternal sleep and eternity".
The bumble bee looks like in an eternal sleep with serenity.
Very nice details of both of them. Your tittle looks like a tittle of a poem.
