[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In Poland, in winter time, even butterflies are brownish. Just joking :-) No insects in sight till march/april. This ashy one was captured by me during last summer. I'm still not great butterflies lover, I prefer rather thistle on my photo :-) Thousands of words was spoken on TN about those insects so I wouldn't repeat this information. How sounds word 'butterflies' in other languages?

I must say that I prefer thistle too ;-)
This photo is really great. I love the colours even the brown ;-) It make nice contrast with this pale blue.
This quite fragile butterfly looks great with all these thorns and spikes. The sharpness and the composition are very good.
Well done, us usuall ;-)

PS. The note is very nice - I love to learn about names :-)

Very good DOF and POV. Excellent sharpness. Well done

Oi, why leave us out? We call them SKOENLAPPERS or vlinders. The English name is really funny, a fly made of butter
I think the Danish will translate in something about summer birds
TFS, this was a fun note, Greg.
Back to the brown B'fly, we have a lot of brown ones too. Very nice compo, I first thought it aught to be square, but this works more affectively, I think.
Well done!

Very nice shot, well controlled in all aspects, but depth is lovely in this one. PP is effective. Thanks!
