Hi Horia,
Excellent shot. The low-angle POV is perfect, combined with the shallow DOF gives great depth to the picture and also gives us a good idea of what the Frog's environment looks like. The low POV gives an idea of what it looks like from the Frogs point of view too. Nicely framed on the thirds with good leading space in front of the little fellow.

Technically and artistically I think this is an excellent shot, the exposure is perfect, great detail and clarity on the frog and the colours are beautiful. I think it's an artistic approach, because (as somebody said to me recently) nearly all pictures of Frogs are taken from the front and zoomed in. This gives the impression of great space but also gives us a good clear view of the little fellow. I like photographing Frogs and I'm definitely going to do some more. Thanks for the inspiration!

Sal. Horia, imagine foarte clara si culori armonioase. Apusul da niste nuante minunate. Parca ai zice ca si broscuta a cazut intr-o reverie. Interesante adnotarile tale. Apele termale sunt cumva cele de pe raul Petea langa Oradea? Succes, Dan.

YOu amphibiophile you, soon youll be cold blooded (no, not really I dont think so). A simple snap but the subject itself and the low angle grow this image in value pretty well. Hello Horia!
Excellent picture of this frog. I love the low angle positoning of the camera which gives you both good isolation of the amphibian from its surroundings and unusual view of the fellow, something you never see unless you get down on your belly. Even though I generally prefer a closer view of the subject, in this case I really like it the way you shot it. The exposure is very good and the shadows show well the texture of the skin on the back. Congratulations,
