[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a Mountain Gorilla named Marjaberry photographed in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
I look at this photograph and I still can't believe I was ever in the company of such amazing and gental creatures, thinking about it still brings me to tears.
I have tried some tight croping to highlight the expression on her face.
Please fell free to comment, all critiques and workshops much appreciated. |

Hello Pam
I love the look on her face. I can see why you would be so emotional. Thanks for sharing. Kathy
Hi Pamela,
I do not know how to WS it but I understand why this subject brings you tears... I think by using this zoom you were to close to do a nice focus. This kind of zoom is effective when you are at 1.8 m the subject or more (and you have to adjust your zoom by setting it from the distance your are from) ... Maybe I’m mistaken but it is a great catch anyway ;) TFS,

Hi Pamela,
Nice brown eyes she has, don't know if it is sad, just peaceful. But I can imagin to get emotional when beeing close to our near relatives and knowing they are in danger.
Altough not very sharp it has a fine composition.
