The background is just wonderful. It's a nice composition, properly exposed and the left wing is paralel to the camera plane that gives good sharpness in spite of relatively large aperture. I think that the flower on the right is a bit disturbing, not a big deal, though. Regards,

Image nette, Jean Jacques. Bel angle de prise de vue. Jolies couleurs. L'arrière plan est des plus agréables. Bien que je trouve la version de MIDI utile, je pense que la lavande dans le coin en bas à droite apporte profondeur et dynamique à l'image. On a l'impression que le papillon regarde cette fleur avec l'intention de s'envoler et de s'y poser.

Je l'ajoute à ma liste de photos favorites.

I like the b/g in this photo a lot, it helps to bring out the beauty of the butterfly perfectly. It also show how beautiful it was that evening. The colors, light and detail of the butterfly are outstanding. This is just a perfect photo you don't see that often.
