[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Siberian Tiger outdoor excursion in Toronto Zoo.

Siberian Tiger is the largest of all cats. It is massively build animal with a rounded head, muscular body, powerful limbs, especially the forearm and shoulder which enables it to overpower a prey larger than itself. The tail is usually slightly shorter than half the head and body length. Ears small and rounded. The muzzle is relatively broader than in other tiger species.
It has large canine teeth as you can see in the pic. The length of head and body is about 1.8 - 2.8 m and the length of the tail is about 0.9 m. Males weight 180 - 306 kg and females 100 - 167 kg.

It is an endangered species found in southeastern Siberia and Manchuria.

A great capture, well caught.

Well, he's not too impressed at being photographed! Great pose. A wee bit dark. Have posted a workshop.

Good one Philippe. I like its pose and face with naked fangs. Good composition and quality, maybe little unsaturated colours.
