Water on Iris II

|I have a picture similar to this one, called simply "Water on Iris." It has a different POV, and there's very little yellow on the flower, so check that out if you like this shot.|
I shot this picture when the sun was hitting the petals almost exactly from the side. If it weren't for the raindrops on the petals, the image would look a bit flat, I think. But the drops help to give a sense of how big and what shape the petal is. I tried looking at the picture after cropping out the vertical petal on the left, but it didn't look right... at the same time, I don't think it looks quite right with the petal in the shot, either.

Very nice macro shot. I like how the petal frames the l/s of the photo. The light hits the beads of water beautifully as well. The yellow and purple colors are vibrant and your perspective really helps expose the great curves of the petal.
Good macro-picture of water droplets on the purple flower with yellow 'tongue'. Very nicely composed.
