Skies on Skye
Beautiful view and well composed.
At 18mm a careful position of the circular Polarizer is a must. In this image, your effect is on the right side of the image. Rotating the polarizer to the left about a 1/4 turn was needed.
Also, circular polarizers do not work well with such wide angles, a graduated P would be a wise choice.

Very nice skyscape Emma.
Good colours and exposure. Well composed, well framed and good notes.
Thanks for posting, enjoy the rest of the week.
Niek is going to like this one. He loves big skies! I like it too. The sliver of sea and islands gives great scale to the image. It is very dynamic. It might need just a tad of rotation to right?? Mike's comment is interesting.
Thanks for sharing.

I think I recognize this kind of sky from my side of the North Sea! Very photogenic indeed...
I like the emphasis on the sky, but not forgetting the island and calm seas...
All well framed in a very nice presentation!
