Back to Scottish landscapes for Niek...

Taken on the west coast of scotland, just below Cape Wrath, this was one of those evening when finding a breeze was the order of the day and this was only acheived by climbing the cliffs and finding an exposed place for our evening meal. But it was a meal with a view!

Not a lot to say, other than a typical scottish coastal area which lots of cliffs, falling rocks, huge holes and cliff faces and plenty of fun.

Converted from RAW, cropped slightly and saturation increased slightly, resized and sharpened.

Still no broadband, though have now been able to sign up with another supplier so 10days and counting...
thanks for looking...

Hi Emma,
This is a wonderful seascape! I like this POV, DOF, colors, details and lightning. Everything is very clear and sharp, you did really great! TFS,

Hello Emma,
Lovely diagonal and attractive layers in your composition! That alone is an attractive image...
Let me add lighting, colours and details from top shelf and you have a very pleasant photograph!

hi emma..this is full of the bracken and heather tones scolland is famous for and the tang of the isles
good aerial perspective deals with the immense depth of the shot..
i will need to try raw to get this quality myself soon...

Hi Emma,

Great shot and a good representation of this part of our beautiful country. Makes me want to go back there asap!

Hello Emma,
what a beautiful rich spectre of colours from warm reds to cool distant blue you are showing here in this magnificent seaside! Beautiful light. Silent sea, ragged rocks, soft hills, distant peaks - both tenderly lyrical and wild.
Thank you! Best regards,

Hello Emma
This is a surperb photograph. You have captured great depth! What a lovely place to have your evening meal. I am terrified of RAW, but you do magic with it.

TFS, José M.

Hello Emma,
Very short on time this morning.
Nice capture, thanks for posting.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Emma,
I hope its not only for me but for all of us that love your landscape photos. Anyway, I am glad you posted another of you beautiful landscape photos. The layers of rock with the patches of grass are really attractive. It clearly shows what erosion does to a landscape. The islands in the front and cliffs further back are stunning as well and look to have some great photo ops as well.

:) tomorrow

Wonderful landscape, Emma. What I like best is the fg seems to have all the Steve signal-womb-like elements and details and look like they have been shot with a WA, but the bg rolls off to hazy grades of blue like it was shot with a long lens -- so this is the best of both worlds!

Hello Emma, it certainly is a impressive sight with so many layers in your composition. I guess like Mike says it is like my style as I try to engage so much of the frame with foreground and backdrops. The palette of colours here is very nice as is your chosen composition. Well done.

Bonjour Emma
Belle prise de vue avec ce superbe paysage avec ces magnifiques montagnes et ses beaux caps et ce beau lac. Félicitations pour l'expositions et les belles couleurs.
Merci et au revoir...JP

Hello Emma

A very nice landscape shot.A very interesting vista.Nice POV and DOF.The hills in the distance are lovely.I like the foreground outcropping and the way it doesn't overpower the shot, yet still allows the viewer to get a feel for the ruggedness.TFS
