Sorry to bore you again with a Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus)
...and on actually the same garden shed
as shown yesterday, maybe even the same spider, just much fatter?
I had a few nice and patient models, so the next
presentations will probably all show the big fat spiders...

One new thing to mention - my first experiment with raw-files.

Hallo Thorsten,
scharfes Bild von der Kreuzspinne wie sie sich per 'Seil' einfüßig sichert. Die Körperzeichnung kommt gut heraus.

Hello Thorsten,
How did you manage to catch that thread so clearly?
A great POV of this "fat" spider hanging from the thread that he just created out of his spinneret in his backside.
It seems relatively thick, maybe an anchor thread for his web.
Fascinating stuff.
I don't know anything about RAW files, but those are very sharp details you have caught in a very good exposure.
