Early morning.
On lamppost near my house, sun light is 'kissing' the beautiful Streptopelia decaocto ( Eurasian Collared Dove )

Mattino presto.
La luce del sole 'bacia' la Streptopelia decaocto ( Tortora dal collare Orientale ) sul lampione vicino casa.

Thanks to Valf for help to find correct name of this kind of bird.

Hi Silvio,
Not a bad shot. This bird is probably a Eurasian Collared Dove (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurasian_Collared_Dove). It's not bad that the bird is on the mailbox, but the head is not on focus. We see the detail on the tail of the bird and the mailbox. You didn't have much light for this one, so it was not an easy one, but I would have push the ISO to 400 to be able to push the aperture (f8 or f11 with near 1/200) and focus on the head.
Regards, Francois

Silvio questa foto mi sembra non renda giustizia all'idea che avevi comunque sono sempre per incoraggiare le idee buone. ciao gigicacco
