[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
[Continued]...This is the bottom side (or Oral side) of the Sand Dollar [Dendraster excentricus] which shows the branching food grooves and the mouth at the centre. Sand Dollars live in the sand partly buried at an angle, their food being plankters and organic particles. Dendraster excentricus is found from southern Alaska down to Baja California, Mexico.
