[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Epilobium augustifolium - Blooms June to September 2-7 ft tall
Flourishes in newly burned areas, low meadows and roadsides.
This picture was taken on our property in Fort Fairfield, Maine, taken in the morning. I was trying to get the sun shining through the plant.
This is a new camera for me, and one of my first photos with a digital. I love the way this came out. I took 7 photos, and this I feel is one of the best ones. I did not do any post processing other than the the soft edge and the black border, both done in Photo Impact. I love the fact that you can even see a bit of the spider's web at several spots. |

Hi Jennifer.
I every morning see this plant during go to work. We named it "Chayirgulu (means: Meadow rose)"But I never think to take its shot :) You have done it very well. A nice work with black and blurry edge frame. TFS and regards.
