Hallo Jacques,
just to identify the species. It is a caterpillar of:
-- Phalera bucephala
-- family: Notodontidae

Hello Jacques, Peter has the ident right its english name is Buff-tip moth. I like the limited DOF you give it , it makes the join in the head and the body stand out well . TFS yours Robert

What a fantastic POV of this hairy caterpillar, Jacques.
A very interesting looking creature indeed.
I like your DOF as well, with just the head in focus, and the rest of the body in a blur. I think it has a lot of visual impact.
Mes felicitations et merci pour le partage. : )
