Belalang = grasshopper
sembah = pray
this mantis still young, she dont have wings yet.

A nice capture of what looks to be a Preying mantis.
Good sharp detail and good DoF.
A note on this insect would be useful,its equally as important as the shot here on TN.

I agree with Andy, this looks like a praying mantis to me(a female unless I am mistaken). They are such interesting insects, they make for great subjects in photos. I like how closely the color of the mantis matches the color of its environment, I guess evolution works... This looks just a little oversharpened to me, or maybe it is just a good size crop from the original. Good shot.

Very nice shot Hasan. It certainly shows how well these insects blend in to the surroundings. A note to go with your picture would be very good. Well done and looking forward to more of your work.

In the clearing stands the boxer, and a figher by his trade . . . from Simon and Garfunkel. I love these mantisis, the envinonment here shows him in full cammo mode, not easily visible for his, prey, which makes a good environmental shot,
