I believe this is a SILVER SAW PALM. (acoelorrhaphe wrightii)
I found this wonderful palm in Punta de Mita Mexico during my first visit to Mexico last summer.
A palm widely used in Florida for street decoration. It grows to a height of 20 ft. It has a slender trunk covered with brown fibers. The leaves are fan shaped and a light green with a silver back. The seeds germinate quickly and easily. This is good outdoor palm for mild climate areas. |

What a beautiful palm. I've never seen it this colour before Julie. My neighbours have a similar green one that is about 10-12 feet now. Good find. TFS.
Now see I told you your version of this tree looked better than mine. Yours is more true to the color and the lines are sharper and clearer, I can almost feel the humidity...when is it we're going back??
