This insect looks like moth to me. Under naked eyes this moth seem to look plain. With flash it shows amazing combination of colors.

Fantastic moth. Very big eyes. Beautiful sharp photo. I dont know what it is. Maybe it is a member of Family Drepanidae. In Europe there is a species Cilix glaucata very often presented in simillar pose. I think you should ask Peter Roos (batu) for help.
Best wishes

Hi Jitti,
Interesting insect, very nicely captured. Amazing colors, look like colors of internal part of seashell. Nice shot.

Hi Jitti,
I cannot help with this ID as I don't know much about moth :) What I know though, is that this is a very unusual speacie from me. I'm sure that we don't have them here. You caught very nice colors and details with good POV and DOF. I like this beautiful pattern on its wings. Thanks,

Can't help with the ID but its quite an interesting looking species, looks like a bird poo on its back.
Lot of good details in this shot, well done.

Nice catch my friend... amazing species with strange colors and design.
I like the contrast between the insect and the leaf, with good sharpness and focus.
Suitable framing too.
Regards... Ricardo

Hi Jitti.
Fantastic Moth and its macro. Great colours, clean and rich. Perfect reflection of the leaf texture and sharpness of whole picture. Nice lighting, exposure, DOF and composition. Excellent work, my friend. TFS and my best wishes.

Hi Jitty!
Nice moth - usually moths are simple colored, but this fellow has used a lot of make up. Hehe, do you think it's female or among moths males are those that use make up?

Hi Jetti
