[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Rufous Hummingbird females..(with eggs)sharing a sip of nectar.

3½-4". Male has bright rufous underparts and flanks, iridescent orange-reg throat. Female green above with rufous tinge on rump and flanks and much rufous in tail. Voice: an abrupt high pitched "zeee" and various other thin squealing notes. Found in mountain meadows, forest edges. 2 white eggs in a lichen covered cup of plant down and spiderweb attached to a horizontal branch. Aggressive and bold.
There are reports of these little birds spending the winter months in areas of south western British Columbia where people have kept feeders supplied with nectar.

Hi Walter,

I would be very happy to see one hummingbird in front of my camera,but 2 and both in focus is awesome,very well captured with great colors,details and sharpness,well done and TFS,

Hi Walter,
wow - again such a fantastic shot - can I come to visit you and your wonderful hummingbirds sometime? I love to make those shots also!
F19 is wonderful here - I also use f18 and more together with the flash for the hummingbird-moths, good sharpness, thanks.
Today we are preview-neighbours - not an easy life for my post ;-(

Very lovely capture.
Besides this great composition with double flying subjects, I like very much the light and colour saturation achieved, the BG looks just perfect for my personal taste.
