It sure has a strange shape. The POV and crop you made makes it look quite abstract and the dark back ground adds to that.

This is such and interesting composition!
These big and white thorns look great agains that lovely dark BG. The details are very nice and sharp and the contrast and lighting in excellent.
Very good DOF and POV, too.
