Galahs are very common in Australia, and in the centre are often seen in large flocks around waterholes and towns. Like many parrots they are seed-eaters, gathering most of their food off the ground after the seeds have fallen. Dry seeds contain virtually no moisture, so they're never very far from water.

Hi Chi,
Nice photo. Good mooment with these to galahs, its a shame about the blurred stick in the foreground. However the colours of the galahs are nice and bright and they are in a good pose.
